March 17, 2009 — The PR for new online community Daughters.com focused on what the site offers: advice and an interactive community designed to help families raise girls ages 8 to 15.
New Moon Girls Media, the company behind New Moon Girls magazine and Web site, worked with Cahill Media Group on the March 10 launch, reaching out to mommy and grandparent bloggers, telling them of the “parent to parent” discussion board, searchable collection of articles about raising girls, and ways they can submit questions to experts. PRWeek US: New Moon Girl hits the Web to secure status with its audience
November 18, 2008 — New Moon Girl Media, creator of a magazine, New Moon Girls, featuring user-generated content by and for girls ages 8 to 12, introduced a new social networking Web site, NewMoonGirls.com, to expand its brand online. The goal was to give girls a place to go online that was “somewhere between Club Penguin and Facebook,” said Nancy Gruver, founder and CEO of New Moon Girl Media. “We’re all about girls: girls’ voices, girls’ opinions, girls’ creativity. What we’re doing online is totally consistent with what we’ve been doing all these years in the magazine.”
